Cybrilla at GFF 2025: Building the Internet of Investments

A funny thing about financial infrastructure is: when it works, nobody notices it.

At Global FinTech Fest 2025, that invisibility became the point of our story.

Cybrilla has spent years building the backend rails that move India’s investments quietly in the background, and at GFF, we finally got to show what that looks like when it connects everyone.

We showcased a demo of our mutual-fund infrastructure and met partners from across the distribution and AMC landscape. But more than the technology itself, what we wanted to share was the shift in how we think about building financial systems.

From Central Systems to Open Networks

Until a few years ago, most of the world relied on central, platform-centric systems where everyone connected to a single core entity. These systems helped scale distribution, but they also created silos, vendor lock-ins and duplicated effort.

Every new connection between an AMC and a distributor meant building custom integrations from scratch. Market growth wasn’t limited by ideas, it was limited by infrastructure.

That’s changing fast.

We’re finally moving from centralised control to distributed collaboration. The question for wealth-tech now is: how do we bring that openness and flexibility to the investment ecosystem?

The Internet of Investments

At Cybrilla, we call this vision the Internet of Investments — a protocol-based model that moves away from an end-to-one architecture to an end–distributor–to–manufacturer–to–end network.

Instead of every participant connecting to a dominant platform, each can plug into a shared backend network where one integration opens access to many. It’s a shift from few-to-many to many-to-many.

This isn’t just an efficiency upgrade; it changes the possibilities:

  • Inclusion → smaller distributors and new asset classes can onboard easily.
  • Innovation → new value-added layers can be built faster on shared rails.
  • Scale → AMCs can reach more investors without being tied to a single intermediary.

It’s how financial infrastructure evolves — from gatekeepers to gateways.

The Way Forward

The next decade of wealth-tech will be defined by collaboration over control.

Protocols will do for financial products what the internet did for information — create a shared language that lets everyone participate and innovate freely.

At Cybrilla, we’re building that foundation, quietly powering the rails that make investing simpler, more accessible and more interoperable.

Because the future of fintech won’t belong to any one platform. It will be built together on shared digital infrastructure.
