For decades, investing in mutual funds has been bogged down by outdated systems, slow integrations, and multiple complex channels. Think of it as trying to get a legal document approved by visiting multiple offices, standing in queues, and collecting various signatures - it's slow, costly, and frustrating.

That's where we come in. With our solutions, we empower mutual fund companies and distributors to streamline processes, cut operation costs, and make investing easier.
Our Story
We started Cybrilla in 2010 in a windowless garage with nothing but laptops, determination, and a shared belief that technology in the world of finance could be made better. Our early days weren't glamorous - just a handful of us learning through trial and error, and tackling challenges that seemed impossibly complex at first. But through these experiences, we gradually built our understanding of the industry's needs.
To a great extent, our partners in the mutual fund space have shaped who we are today. For example, India’s first robo-advisor and direct fund platform entrusted us with solving their challenges.
We also realised we were part of an industry where mutual fund houses and distributors relied heavily on legacy infrastructure and outdated tools that slowed transactions and increased costs. And it was all accepted as "business as usual." We saw an opportunity to change this. We built the Fintech Primitives (FP), our API platform that simplifies mutual fund transactions. FP, our hero product, is currently being used by over 70 partners.
The industry is evolving and so are we. We reached a major milestone in March 2024 when we received our RTA license from SEBI to forge deeper distribution partnerships with fund houses, sachetise investments, reduce error rates and decentralise transactions.
In August 2024, we helped write the ONDC protocol for the mutual fund space, and became the first company in India to process a live decentralised mutual fund transaction on ONDC.
What's next? We're excited about breaking free from traditional platform limitations and showcasing the benefits of a decentralised, protocol-based approach to distribution by enabling unique use cases.

Words from the Industry
One of the biggest value additions Cybrilla has brought to Bachatt is speed. We signed the contract on March 15, and by April 25 we were live — in just 40 days. This kind of rapid execution, by reducing the development cycle so significantly, was critical for our survival as a young startup. With any other large organisation in the mutual fund industry, the outcome would have looked very different.Another major value addition has been Cybrilla's ability to effectively coordinate with multiple agencies. A single order involves at least five to six stakeholders, each with its own processes, and Cybrilla managed all of them seamlessly. Their execution gave us the confidence to grow without being slowed down by industry complexities.
