We recently decided to log off our cloud-based systems and connect through a different kind of network—one built of collaborations, authentic conversations and shared adventures, surrounded by nature.
Bungee jumping brought out courage, tambola nights sparked laughter, and impromptu dinner dances revealed sides of each other we'd never glimpse in our weekly standups or official chats. Rafting through rapids, we realised that the problem-solving instincts we use every day to simplify financial complexities worked just as well navigating white water. Who knew finance folks could paddle with such coordination!
Back to work now, but something's different. Our meetings now carry echoes of riverside conversations and shared challenges. Turns out when a team connects in person, even the code seems to flow better!
